DE-STIGMATIZING SEX EDUCATION ONE BODY AT A TIME ✶
Step into The School of Sexuality Project—where access to comprehensive sex education is every individual’s right!
We blend humor, gamification, and intersectional perspectives to create learning experiences that are as fun as they are informative. Whether through interactive workshops, creative curricula, or community events, we’re on a mission to
de-stigmatize and re‐humanize sex ed through storytelling, sketch comedy, and hands‐on games.
Our mission is to de-stigmatize and re‐humanize sex education through the power of humor and storytelling while empowering students with the knowledge they require to become educators themselves, fostering a community of shared learning.
We aspire to a world where sex education acts as a powerful force for empathy—uniting individuals and fostering a more compassionate, connected society.
What Sets Us Apart
❋
Interactive & Gamified Learning:
We design lessons like a game show or trivia night—complete with team-based challenges, role-playing scenarios, and “spin-the-wheel” icebreakers—so students stay engaged and excited.
☻
Humor as a Bridge:
By weaving in sketch comedy, funny memes, and pun-filled presentations, we make sensitive topics approachable. Laughter breaks down walls, sparks curiosity, and keeps participants relaxed.
✦
Intersectional Approach:
We recognize that identities overlap—race, gender, sexuality, class, ability, and faith all shape how someone experiences their body and relationships. Our materials reflect this complexity by including examples and voices from diverse communities, ensuring no one feels left out.
✿
Community-Centered Learning:
Our programs are co-created with local partners, peer ambassadors, and community leaders. Every workshop draws on lived experiences—whether from CSULB’s WAGE Center, Long Beach Pride, or neighborhood organizations—to ensure content resonates and empowers participants in their own context.
Curriculum
Re-Humanizing
Sex Ed
Our K–12 approach ensures that every adolescent—whether in middle or high school—receives dynamic, youth-centered sexual-wellness education that exceeds minimum standards. Drawing on human-centered design, our middle school and high school curriculum are co-created with students, educators, and families to reflect real-world identities, needs, and cultural contexts. Each module leverages gamification, storytelling, and humor to demystify topics like anatomy, consent, digital safety, and LGBTQIA+ inclusion—making learning interactive, relatable, and deeply affirming
The Vulva
Project:
Art, Healing, & Community Connection
The Vulva Project reclaims conversations about bodies through art and restorative justice. Our signature Build-a-Vulva workshop invites participants—women, queer, trans, and nonbinary folx—to craft a plush model of external genitalia. By centering creativity, accurate anatomy, and shared storytelling, we dismantle shame and spark body positivity.
Workshops for
Every Body:
Workshops for All Ages & Stages
Whether you're an educator, a parent, or a curious young learner, we’ve got a workshop for you. Our programs meet people where they are—with compassion, creativity, and zero shame. From trauma-informed Professional Development trainings for teachers, to inclusive Parent & Caregiver Workshops, to joyful, age-appropriate Youth Sessions, we offer hands-on learning that sparks real conversation and lasting impact. Every workshop is rooted in our core belief: that everyone deserves access to accurate, affirming, and relatable sex education—at every stage of life.
Feel Good
Fairs:
Youth-Centered Health Festivals & Events
Our Feel Good Fairs create fun, inclusive, and youth-centered spaces where teens (ages 14–18) access accurate wellness information, connect with community resources, and participate in interactive workshops that support their overall well-being. These free events promote physical, mental, emotional, and social health in an approachable, engaging way.
